I'm back!

I haven't really been working , but I am back now. Between getting our house ready to sell, having it on the market and some health issues I haven't been getting any blogging done. Fortunately, we have our big projects done and I have been doing work and just not blogging about it.

I delivered this invitation on our way to Idaho for Labor Day weekend. It was so nice to meet the bride. We had worked through email, mail and phone. I always love to meet the bride and groom and get them to know them a little bit. I love to hear the falling in love stories and how they relate to what they want for their wedding.

I have other invitations I have been working on. I love this one. It is a perfect pattern that just came together perfectly.

I am moving my blog to www.blogger.com

After trying to publish a blog using iWeb, I have decided to move my blog to www.blogger.com For some reason I can't get my website to publish when I have a blog in the files. I would like to show you what I have been up to regularly, so here we are. Obviously, I will have to work on how to make this program work so that everything doesn't look silly, but maybe tomorrow when I have more time.

I have been working on a red and gold pocketfold invitation. It has a gold damask backing, red backing and white invitation with gold detailing. It is still in the working phase, but it is getting there. The other invitation I have been working on is a white with sage green ink invitation. I love the little motif thing on the top. I am working on labels for the address and return address for the dark brown envelope.

I am in the middle of another invitation that is turquoise and black damask. I was in a model home last week and they had a beautiful room that was done in turquoise and black and white. There was a gorgeous turquoise dresser with black and white accessories. I have had some turquoise envelopes that I bought a while ago and now I know what I am going to do with them.
